Room Managers, Organization Owners, and Organization Administrators can create and edit templates in rooms and organizations they manage.
Creating a Meeting Template
You can create a new meeting template in one of three ways:
- Copy an existing meeting template, for example, one you've added from the Template Gallery.
- Make a template based on an existing meeting.
- Add a new template and start from scratch.
Copying an Existing Meeting Template
To copy an existing meeting template:
- Navigate to the desired meeting room or your organization, then click on the Settings tab.
- Under Meeting Templates, click on the Manage Templates link.
- Select Copy from the Actions menu next to the template you want to copy.
- In the resulting dialog, confirm that you want to copy the template as described.
Note that if you want to copy a gallery template, you must first add the gallery template to your organization or room.

Making a Template Based on an Existing Meeting
To make a template based on a meeting:
- In the left navigation, select either "Calendar" or "Meetings" to find the meeting you'd like to use. Click on the meeting title.
- Next to the title on the meeting home page, use the Actions menu to choose Make template.
- You will be asked whether to include the list of attendees (people who are invited to the meeting) in the template. Choose yes or no.

Creating a New Meeting Template
To create a new meeting template:
- Navigate to the Manage Templates page (select the Settings tab for your room or organization, then select Manage Meeting Templates).
- Click Create new template.

Editing a Meeting Template
To edit or view details of a template, click the template's name or select Manage template from the Actions menu for the template.
